It is not too early to start planning for the Grissom Family Reunion
in July 2003. The catered Saturday July 26 luncheon will be held
at the First Southern Baptist Church in Pikeville, TN (map).
Many of us will be spending the week afterwards wandering around Tennessee,
seeing the sights and acting like tourists.
Our base of operation will be Fall
Creek Falls State Park Resort, where many of us will be staying. The park
is located in Bledsoe and Van Buren counties, 11 miles east of Spencer and 18
miles west of Pikeville. It may be entered from Highway 111 or Highway 30. There
are several inviting bed and breakfast inns in the area which offer lodging
as well.
